First, you will complete a simple online form that is emailed to the carrier or us. This usually takes about 10 minutes. Generally, within 1 business day a state specific application will be emailed to you from the carrier or our office for review of your personal information and your electronic signature. This usually takes 2 minutes on your part.

Once the carrier accepts the application, an insurance exam, if needed, will be ordered and scheduled at your convenience. During an insurance exam a licensed nurse will take a blood and urine sample, obtain your height/weight and ask you some medical questions. This can be done at your place of work or at home, usually Monday through Saturday 8 am to 8 pm and typically takes 15-20 minutes.

Depending on the amount of insurance you are applying for, the insurance company may also call you to confirm your answers on the application and ask you additional questions regarding your health. This usually takes 15-20 minutes.

The underwriting process is usually completed in about 3-4 weeks. Upon completion we will receive the formal offer from the carrier and will walk you through your options. Once you have chosen your final design the insurance company will email the policy to you for your signature and online payment. After these items are received by the company your policy coverage is in force.
